BIC 2016 – Lisbon e Sao Paulo




BIC 2015 – Oporto and Madrid

The third edition of the Conference has attracted almost 500 participants from more than 20 countries. Between Oporto and Madrid we heard 28 keynote speeches, and had the opportunity to see about 14 abstract presentations. With the theme "Collaboration, also among countries", the main subjects ranged from private and public initiatives to design, construction management, facility management, openBIM and research. The quality and complementarity of the presentations stands out as one of the most positive aspects of the conference over three days. Program breaks and Social Events strengthened the exchange of knowledge and networking oportunities among speakers, sponsors and participants.




BIC 2014 – Lisbon

At the BIC 2014, whose theme was “Challenges to Overcome”, we presented and discussed the latest information and knowledge regarding BIM implementation worldwide and pinpoint to solutions that allow Portugal and other countries to implement BIM faster.

Lisbon is a city that combines the charms of olden times with a modern touch. It has also very good equipment and infrastructures. Here, the participants enjoined visits to historical and wonderful monuments, amazing cultural events and superb traditional gastronomy. The event had 220 participants from more than 22 different countries.




BIC 2013 – Porto

This event was attended by representatives of all different roles of the construction business, like public and private promoters, architects, project engineers, constructors, facility managers, suppliers, etc. We were able to gather more than 250 professionals from more than 20 different countries, to participate in this initiative.

The first day of the Conference was marked by the vision and experience of government representatives, architects and engineers about the new technology.

The second day signaled the end of the Conference, dedicating itself to the presentation of case-studies from constructors and clients, alike.

The social events and networking revealed themselves to be successful as well, with the conference dinner and closing ceremony attended by more than 80 international professionals, thus stimulating a healthy business relation and establishing future contacts.
